Well its about to be a blog-tastic night.
For those of you who have been keeping up with my blogs, I have been without the Internet for the last couple weeks so this post will cover the week of February 16-22. As an explanation for my tardiness, I had been sharing my Internet with a couple across the hall from me who were teaching at the elementary school beside us. But, since their contracts were up and they had to head out their Internet was canceled and I had to get my own. However, since it was the end of a semester things were a little wild around the office so it slipped my mind the first week and we were all too busy to worry about it the second week getting ready for the start of the next semester.
So what have I been doing?
Well the week in question was a pretty quiet. I have semi-resolved to stop going out too late during the week so that I don't have to miss any gym days and so that I don't damage my bank account and liver any further. On Friday we went out with the teachers from the elementary school for Sam and Allison's last drinks. We went to a bar called Zenia, which is super cheap and has a great space for accommodating large groups. We stayed pretty late and had some good laughs as they said their good-byes.
The next day was Brady's birthday. He is one of the elementary teachers. So Jameson, Brian, Blake and myself went to Itaewon to party with him. It was a good time, we started with dinner and then moved to a couple different bars throughout the night. Around 230 everyone started heading out so what did we do? Under the influence of Blake and Jameson we went back to Justin Bar.............yeah that was the hooker bar we had visited previously. See Blake thought he had something going with one of the girls the first time so he wanted to drop in again. Nothing hookerish just friend like. That's when things got crazy. She asked Blake why he wasn't buying her drinks and Blake answered "because he isn't interested in supporting the hooker industry" (not in those exact words). To this she got terribly offended and stormed off. Then instead of saving face and leaving Blake bought her a drink and left it at the bar so when she came back from having her pout he could say "hey I bought you a drink, never talk to me again." This was a little wild so we all finished our beers and took off.
Waking up Sunday we laughed about it and then got ready for another night out. That's right it as a party weekend. Sunday night was our friend Charles the Adulterers birthday. So we went to Apgujong to have dinner and drinks with him, Junk, Gina, and some other friends. It was a good time, we didn't stay late since everyone had to get up in the morning and we had been drinking for 3 days at that point.
Well that sums up one missed week. Coming up is week two.
